Partner with Easy Small Claims
Key takeaways
Clients pay $99 to start and $299 through the hearing, with no cut of what they recover. Court costs are passed through at cost.
Included: the demand letter, steady follow-up, court-ready papers built from the client's own documents, and hearing prep.
Bookkeepers get a plain triage of a client's overdue list back within two business days.
We are not a law firm, partners do not represent clients, and no referral fees are paid at this time.
Who is the partner program for?
People who already sit next to unpaid business invoices and want a sensible next step to offer. There are five ways in, and each one works a little differently.
Collection agencies
Small balances are hard to make pay at a contingency rate. Use our software to give the creditor a flat-fee path to a demand letter and small claims, co-branded with your agency. The creditor stays the party and approves each step. We are looking for pilot partners in Texas.
Bookkeepers, accountants and fractional CFOs
You see the aging report every month. With your client's permission, send us their overdue list and get a plain triage back within two business days: billing issue, missing proof, worth a next step, or not worth chasing. Your client decides what happens next.
Invoicing and AR software
Add a "Recover this invoice" button. One click pre-fills a case with the invoice details, and your customer confirms everything on our side. The API and webhooks are still in development, so this is early access for now.
Attorneys
We send contested matters, garnishment and anything outside our software's scope to independent attorneys, who bill the client directly. Join the referral list and tell us which courts and matter types you take.
Associations and chambers
We can give a practical talk or a member resource on getting paid when a client stops paying. Our guide to collecting unpaid invoices step by step gives a fair idea of the tone.
How does it work for your client?
Three steps, and the client approves each one before it happens.
Your client shares the invoice and the proof
The invoice, the contract or emails that agreed the work, and any reminders already sent.
Our software checks fit and sends the demand letter
We check the claim suits small claims, prepare the demand letter for payment and run the follow-up. If the client already sent a final notice letter, we build on it.
If it is still unpaid, the client can file
The client files in small claims with documents we prepare, then gets ready for the hearing. In Texas, justice court hears claims of no more than $20,000, and a business can appear through an owner, officer or employee who is not an attorney, as the Harris County Justice Courts explain. Our Texas small claims guide for businesses covers fees and which court to use.
What does the client pay?
Flat staged fees, published before checkout. Court and service fees are passed through at cost.
| Plan | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Fix It | $99 to start, $299 through the hearing | Demand letter, follow-up, filing papers, service ordered and tracked, hearing prep |
| Autopilot | $5 per invoice | Every overdue invoice followed up until it is paid. Filing is priced separately and only with the client's approval |
| Collection steps after a judgment | Quoted separately | Steps such as an abstract of judgment or a writ, plus the court's own fees |
We take no cut of what the client recovers. No referral fees are paid to partners at this time.
What will we not do?
- Act as a law firm or give legal advice. Easy Small Claims is not a law firm.
- Appear in court. The client represents their own business, so a hearing needs someone from the business.
- Send or file anything without the client's approval.
- Chase consumer medical or credit debt, or a business that has filed for bankruptcy.
- Promise a result. Some invoices are not worth chasing, and we will say so.
Partners do not represent clients either. When a matter needs a lawyer, it goes to an independent attorney, and our page on whether you need a lawyer for small claims explains where that line usually falls.
How do we get started?
Use the Talk to us about partnering button. In the details box, tell us which kind of partner you are (agency, bookkeeper or accountant, software platform, attorney, association or other) and roughly how many overdue invoices your clients see. You can also write to hello@easysmallclaims.com. We reply within one business day.
Last updated October 2026. Easy Small Claims is not a law firm and this page is general information, not legal advice. Clients represent their own business in small claims court. Partners do not represent clients. No referral fees are paid at this time.
Questions, answered
Do partners get paid for referrals?
No. Easy Small Claims pays no referral fees at this time. Partners join because their clients get a clear, flat-fee next step on invoices that reminders did not move. If that ever changes, we will publish the terms on this page and tell existing partners directly before anything is signed.
Does the client stay in control?
Yes. The client is the party to the claim and approves every step, from the demand letter to any filing. Our software prepares the documents and runs the follow-up, but nothing is sent or filed without the client's sign-off. Partners do not represent the client at any point.
Is Easy Small Claims a law firm?
No. Easy Small Claims is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. We prepare documents from the client's own records and manage each step at their direction. Clients represent their own business in small claims court, and contested matters or garnishment go to independent attorneys who bill the client directly.
Which states do you work in?
We are starting in Texas, where justice courts hear claims of no more than $20,000 and a business can appear through an owner, officer or employee who is not an attorney. The agency pilot is Texas only. If your clients are elsewhere, tell us where when you get in touch, because that shapes where we go next.
